FALL 2016 PANTONE COLOR REPORT: EARTH TONES AND POPS OF COLOR

sadly I have to say that fall is around the corner and it means just one thing: NEW TRENDS!
today I want to talk with you about the new fall 2016 color trends that pantone released, based on the ny fashion week.
Dusty Cedar
dusty cedar is a dustier rose-toned Pink shade with some complexity, basically it's a fall and winter version of the Pinks we’re used to see in spring. this color pairs well with white and grey.
Aurora red
this color s bold Red that is warm, sensual and immediately pleasing to the eye. it goes with gold and brick brown (color below) and light taupe. This color is another classic, sophistcated and classy and in somehow makes us feel like super girly and sexy everytime we wear it (tell me that i'm not the only one, pleasee :') )
Spicy Mustard
this color is a spicier, zestier yellow than the usual mustard -yellow color, that we're used to see usually. Spicy mustard adds another splash of uplifting vibrancy, and it's unexpected and unusual but super trendy (definitely my favorite of the bunch). pairs well with light beige and rusty orange (which is super on trend in makeup, just think at the latest kylie jenner relases and the colourpop one).
Warm taupe
like the name suggest this is a warm taupe and it always been a staple in the fall palette colors( just think at all of the beautiful beige trench that we all love in the fall season). Warm taupe is also perfectly suitable in both makeup and of course faschion, beacuse it's pairable with basically everything.
Lush Meadow
lush meadow is a rich and elegant, vibrant and sophisticated emerald green. This shade displays a brightness, panache and depth of color that elevates it from more natural greens. It's pairable with balck, warm taupe, red.

FALL 2016: A Unity of Strength, Confidence and Complexity
The desire for tranquility, strength, and optimism have inspired a Fall 2016 color palette that is led by the Blue family.
Along with anchoring earth tones, exuberant pops of vibrant colors also appear throughout the collections. Transcending gender, these unexpectedly vivacious colors in our Fall 2016 palette act as playful but structured departures from your more typical fall shades.

bodacious
bodacious is a bright, rich purple with hints of a sophisticated pink. this color is unexpected in fall, but it's versatile; can be used with Pinks and Reds.

Potter's clay
potter's clay has elements of russet Orange in its undertones, gives a grounded feeling that’s anything but flat. it's a classic neutral earth tone; expected for fall and winter palette. pairs well with taupe and black. I think that this color is the most loved this fall, it's a huge trend right now, even in make up.. we see it everywhere and I don't really mind! :P
SharkSkin
SharkSkin is a staple color that everybody uses, it's always on trend! this cool toned grey is simple yet elegant and sophisticated, plus it's pairable with almost any fall colors, bright or muted.

I would describe this color is a washed-out blue, it displays a subtle vibrancy and sophistication and goes pefectly with denim and white.
Airy blue
this color is so unique, it reminds me Serenity (pantone's 2016 year color), airy blue is a sophisticated pastel blue. Pair Airy Blue with Lush Meadow, Taupe or Dusty Cedar for fresh approach.
